Señorita News!

March 2016

For those who have never seen waltz lessons, they are so fun... and funny!  Dads, daughters, and dates all explored the little known art that is the waltz on March 13 at the Fishback Studio of the Dance.  It was actually... HILARIOUS!  Everyone was cracking up and it was, quite possibly, the world's biggest "ice breaker"!  All were instructed as to what is to be expected at the Ball.  The girls were all positively adorable.  We are very excited to share them all with you.  They have worked very hard.

See you at the Ball,
The Pams

Señorita News!

January 2016

This past Sunday's Senorita event proved to be a big hit with the girls and their mothers. We began with an "preparing for college" fashion event at Anthropologie in Uptown. The girls benefited from a fashion seminar as well as a mini fashion show where they modeled their own selections from the store. Of course, pizza made everyone channel their inner fashionistas even better! We then were off to MAC where we learned copious amounts about makeup "dos and don'ts" for all occasions as well as the Ball! This portion of the event required sweets. Clearly!  A great time was had by all. We are especially fond of this stage of the program, as you can really begin to spot new friendships forming among girls who were previously a little shy around each other. We love watching them branch out. We have the big presentation meeting on the evening of the 28th, at which time we will lay out everything the girls can expect on the evening of the ball. This marks the beginning of crunch time. Love it!

Señorita News!

December 2015

The Senoritas tried something new for the holidays this year: cooking class!  Nancy Herring of Now We're Cooking hosted a "college prep" cooking class for our girls.  Their moms joined them at the party and we exchanged secret Santa gifts.  A fun time was had by all and we held a little meeting with the mothers during cooking class.  We all even managed to do a little shopping!  Next stop...the big presentation meeting in January!  Stay tuned!

Señorita News!

October 2015

What fun and fulfillment our Senoritas enjoyed this last month!  We held our annual fall party with the kids at Joy Junction.  We wish you all could feel the beauty of this function!  It is so heartwarming, and the Senoritas are rendered speechless every time!  It is so amazing!  We frosted that cake with our Father/Daughter costume bowling at Sylva Lanes dressed in full regalia.  It was too funny!  Various prizes were awarded and smiles were everywhere.  The girls are really getting to know each other with each month and are learning the joys of giving to their community. Stay tuned for November!

Señorita News!

September 2015

What an exciting time our new Señoritas had this last weekend! On Saturday, September 12, we all met for the first ever Señorita Olympics. What a hoot! Gunny sack races and three legged races and the egg relay made for a fun day. On Sunday, September 13, Mr. Chip Hindi instructed the ladies on etiquette and did an exemplary job, as always. Our group is very enthusiastic this year, and we are so very proud of them. Stay tuned to hear about all the upcoming fun....

Señorita News!

August 2015

On Sunday, August 10, we had our Señorita Orientation. The Ice Cream Social was held at the Albuquerque Country Club.  It was great to meet and get to know our new Señoritas and their parents, as well as catch up with returning families.  We have an awesome year planned with a variety of activities, ranging from Señorita Olympics, distributing food boxes at the Rio Grande Food Pantry and providing a Halloween party to the kids at Joy Junction.
